Badge asks the Oracle if his ball is pure. The Oracle responds that blessing requires a purity score. The system has quantified moral standing -- your worth isn't demonstrated through action but through a metric you didn't know existed until you needed it. You've been denied a promotion because of a score on a rubric nobody shared with you.
